# Alchemii

> Alchemii is a no-code token toolkit for creating Solana SPL tokens and fixed-supply Robinhood Chain ERC-20 tokens. Its Solana tools also launch Raydium liquidity pools, burn LP tokens to permanently lock liquidity, and remove liquidity.

**What is an SPL token?**
A fungible token on the Solana blockchain. SPL stands for Solana Program Library. All SPL tokens share the same on-chain program at TokenkegQfeZyiNwAJbNbGKPFXCWuBvf9Ss623VQ5DA (no per-token contract deployment, unlike ERC-20). Each SPL token is a "mint account" inside that program with metadata stored separately via Metaplex.

**How much does it cost to create a Solana SPL token in 2026?**
Approximately 0.22 SOL all-in when using Alchemii for a standard launch: a flat one-time service fee plus Solana's own ~0.0191 SOL protocol floor (mint account rent, Metaplex metadata PDA rent, Associated Token Account rent, signature fees). The typical memecoin configuration, which also revokes mint authority, comes to about 0.32 SOL; with every optional extra selected it tops out around 0.52 SOL. Optional extras are itemized on the create form before you connect a wallet. Pricing is quoted in SOL and charged once — no subscription and no percentage of trading volume. The standard one-time Alchemii service fee is 0.01 ETH, plus a small Robinhood Chain gas charge. Eligible discounted creator wallets pay 0.0001 ETH. The form reads the connected wallet's exact current ETH fee directly from the factory contract before signing. Creating the ERC-20 does not list it in the Robinhood brokerage app and does not make it tradeable until liquidity is added.

**What does it mean to revoke mint authority?**
Removing the wallet that has the right to mint additional tokens. After revocation, supply is permanently fixed. Required for memecoin credibility because holders won't trust a token where the dev can dilute supply at will. In the 50,000-launch observational sample, tokens with revoked mint authority survive 24 hours at 4.2× the rate of tokens with active mint authority (correlation, not proven causation).

**What is freeze authority?**
The wallet that can freeze any individual holder's tokens (preventing transfer/sell). Required for regulated stablecoins like USDC and PYUSD (OFAC compliance). Must be revoked for memecoins because it's a rug-pull vector and exchanges/aggregators flag tokens with active freeze authority.

**What does burning LP tokens do?**
Permanently destroys the LP tokens representing pool ownership. Liquidity stays in the pool forever; no one (including the original LP provider) can withdraw it. Strongest on-chain anti-rug signal. Irreversible. Sent to the incinerator address 1nc1nerator11111111111111111111111111111111.

**Burning LP vs locking LP — which is better?**
Burning is permanent (forever); locking is time-limited (typically 6 months to several years). Burning sends the strongest trust signal. For most memecoins, burn is the cleaner story.

**Difference between burning LP and removing liquidity?**
Removing liquidity returns underlying tokens to your wallet (reads as a rug-pull pattern post-launch). Burning LP destroys your claim to them, leaving them locked in the pool forever. Use remove only for legitimate test-launch recovery before any holders enter.

**Do I need coding experience to create a Solana token?**
No. Alchemii is a no-code interface for the underlying Solana SPL Token Program and Raydium AMM.

**Is creating a token reversible?**
No. Solana transactions are final. Once a token's mint account exists on-chain, it exists forever.
