Robinhood Chain pool creator FAQ
How does the Robinhood Chain pool creator work?
Enter your token address, the token amount and the ETH amount you want to seed with, and pick a fee tier. One transaction creates the Uniswap V3 pool, sets its opening price from your two amounts, deposits both sides full-range, and sends the LP position NFT to your wallet.
What sets the opening price of the pool?
The ratio of your two deposits. Seeding with 800,000,000 tokens and 0.5 ETH opens the pool at 1.6 billion tokens per ETH. If a pool for the pair and fee tier already exists, its current market price applies instead — the page warns you and points you to add-liquidity in that case.
Which fee tier should a meme coin use?
The 1% tier is the common choice for new meme coins: volatile pairs earn LPs more per swap there, and it is where traders expect new tokens. The 0.3% tier suits established pairs, and 0.05% is for stable pairs.
Do I need WETH first?
No. You deposit native ETH and the position manager wraps it automatically. Anything the pool does not consume — ETH or tokens — returns to your wallet in the same transaction.
Who holds the liquidity after creation?
You do. The Uniswap V3 position NFT is minted directly to your wallet; Alchemii's contract never holds your position and ends every transaction with a zero balance. You can add, withdraw, or collect fees at any time.
